Penumbra é a linha que divide a luz da sombra. Aqui, expressa a acção díspar da humanidade perante a natureza, entre o amor e o maltrato, entre o abuso e o cuidar. Esta escultura foi realizada durante o Simpósio Arte & Sustentabilidade (Outubro de 2018, Braga) - cuja premissa facultava a transformação plástica de materiais de construção e industriais reciclados, uma forma de discutir a sustentabilidade ambiental e aplicar noções de economia circular na prática artística -  uma iniciativa da Zet Gallery, com curadoria de Helena Mendes Pereira e apoio à produção da DST Group, em Braga.

Penumbra is the line that divides light from shadow. Here, it expresses humanity's disparate action towards nature, between love and mistreatment, between abuse and care. This sculpture was made during the Art & Sustainability Symposium (October 2018, Braga) - whose premise allowed for the visual transformation of recycled building and industrial materials, a way of discussing environmental sustainability and applying notions of circular economy in artistic practice - an initiative of Zet Gallery, curated by Helena Mendes Pereira and with production support from DST Group, in Braga.
